Dr. Lynn McMillon graduated from Oklahoma Christian College in 1963 with a bachelor’s degree in Bible, and just three years later he returned to the college to teach, having completed an M.A. and an M.Th. at Harding Graduate School of Religion. He went on to complete his Ph.D. in Religion at Baylor University and eventually becoming Distinguished Professor of Bible and Dean of the College of Biblical Studies.
Dr. McMillon served for many years as editor of the Christian Chronicle and now is President and CEO for the monthly newspaper. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in the State of Oklahoma and has conducted marriage enrichment seminars for churches for twenty-five years. Dr. McMillon has also spoken on numerous lectureships and in many churches both across the nation and in many foreign countries. He is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature. He and his wife Joy have two sons: Jeff and Greg, four granddaughters and one grandson. Dr. McMillon is an elder at Memorial Road Church of Christ.
